Along with a few bug fixes, you can now find the exact spots that our pros are fishing.

Just go to the BAIT SHOP and check out the Pro Staff Packs. Not only will you find some great spots to fish from, you’ll get a pro-labeled pin on your MAPS with the exact GPS coordinates, date, and size of catches. PLUS, the app will guide you right to the spot.

For future results, follow Matt Lee and Jordan Lee on the Elite Series, and Brandon Cobb and Brian Latimer on the FLW Tour.

If there’s a lake you want to fish and you want to know if one of the pros has fished it yet, just ask…we’ll add more lakes on request.

Be sure to visit the Apple or Android stores to download the latest updates.

iPhone & Android Updates https://www.fatsackoutdoors.com/iphone-android-updates/ Tue, 14 Jul 2015 16:39:28 +0000 http://www-dev.fatsackoutdoors.com/?p=13093 We have made several updates to the app on both platforms and are excited about you all seeing the improvements.  The Android version is already out and incorporates the linking to your social media as well as introduces you to our rewards program.  We have introduced the premium version as an in-app purchase which incorporates the Analytics and some select Videos.  The cost is $1.99 a month to unlock this feature and we are working now to make even more new features available to those who purchase the premium version.  We have also made some changes to the bragboard and to the sack it pages.  The iPhone version should be online this week so keep an eye out for it.

Don’t hesitate to let us know what you think about the changes and let us know if there is anything you see that you would like us to incorporate in future versions.  We are working on other “modules” that we think you will really enjoy so stay tuned and happy fishing.

App Updates https://www.fatsackoutdoors.com/app-updates/ Tue, 17 Mar 2015 00:50:13 +0000 http://www-dev.fatsackoutdoors.com/?p=12863 We are working on the updates to both Apple and Android versions of our app.  It’s exciting to see the updates as we are working on them and I can’t wait to see them go live on iTunes and Google Play.

Originally we expected the updates on both platforms to be further along but we are finding things we want to fix or make better.  Here is just a sample of those things:

1. We added the cumulative weight and total catches to the daily calendar so you can keep track of your day, tournament style.

2. We are adding a date stamp to your favorite rigs so you can keep track of what line is on your rod and how long its been there.

3. We are working on a better weather API integration so accuracy will be improved.

4. Android is in the process of being updated to be at the same level as Apple. There are still several challenges on this front and I wish it were further along but it will get there, I promise.

We still have a long list of items we want to improve and we are excited about you seeing them all.  So hang in there as our dev team churns this out.  Our goal is to have these updates and app fixes to both platforms in three weeks.  That’s a long time out there but our dev team is sweatin bullets.

I will keep you updated through this blog so stay in tune and check back periodically.  Also, don’t hesitate to give us feedback on the contact portion of the home page.  We would love to hear from you.
